Faculty Publishing Unit:
Slovenian book market is very small. For this reason large publishing houses in Slovenia do not have much interest in publishing professional chemistry literature for such a limited market. Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology has a non-profit publishing unit which caters for the teaching and learning needs of the Faculty. We specialise in narrow targeted literature, mainly for the use of the students of our Faculty. This is also a way to encourage teachers to write course books in the mother tongue, and in this way develop professional terminology in Slovenian. Every year we publish approximately 4 – 8 new publications, and reprints. Typical publications are course books, laboratory exercise guides, collections of exercises and other study materials. Publications are available from the Faculty bookshop. |
The Faculty publications can be purchased daily from 09:00 to 11:00 next to the entrance to the new lecture hall (backyard entrance) of Aškerčeva 5. Contact person: Mr. Mirko Belak.
