RESEARCH INTERESTS (More information at SICRIS) Research Fields
- Use of ab initio (on the Hartree – Fock (HF) and the Density Functional (DFT) level of theory) and the semiempirical MO theory to examine the chemical systems in equilibrium as well as the chemical reactions with the emphasise on the intermolecular interactions (e.g. hydrogen bonds).
- Theoretical study of the reactions of polyoxides.
- Interaction and binding of ligand molecules to biomolecules.
Participation in Current Research Projects
- J1-7338 Characterization of polymers: from simple to complex molecules (primary investigator Prof. Dr. Gorazd Vesnaver)
