Unit for analysis of organic molecules

The Unit for analysis of organic molecules provides researchers and students with NMR spectroscopy equipment that can be used for determining structures and conformations of molecules, qualitative analyses of mixtures, as well as kinetic and thermodynamic measurements in solution. The HRMS LCMS equipment enables determining the exact mass and molecular formula of pure compounds and components of a mixture. The CHNS / O analyzer makes it possible to determine the mass fraction of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur and oxygen, and thus the confirmation of the molecular formula to a wide range of materials, from organic and inorganic molecules to polymers.
