
The Heritage Science Unit (E-RIHS.SI) of the Centre for Research Infrastructure at University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, provides researchers and experts from various domains (natural and other sciences, engineering and technology, arts and humanities) an interdisciplinary approach to solving problems in the field of heritage science.
The unit has been established in accordance with the Agreement on the Establishment of the Consortium E-RIHS.SI between the University of Ljubljana and the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia (8 May 2019) and is part of the Slovenian node of the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science. In the future, access to equipment and expertise will be regulated by the E-RIHS.SI Rules of Procedure.
E-RIHS.SI is part of the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science (E-RIHS), supported by ESFRI - the European Strategy Forum for Research Infrastructures, planned to start operations in 2021.
